So, that was the press release. Cavalier King Charles Spaniels from the Georgia and Alabama Cavalier Rescue were the models along with two of my dogs - Angelo and Bella - that traveled with me for the finale. Since I was in Palm Springs and the dogs were in Birmingham, all of the measuring had to be done by the owners. And amazingly, all but one of the outfits fit perfectly. But no worries, I brought needle/ thread and safety pins so all was well.
I met the dogs for the first time backstage, where I had each dog's outfit on their chair with all their information so their owners could find them easily.
I dressed each one and added lots of exciting accessories to make them shine on stage.
And then the lights went on, the music started and the celebrity walkers grabbed the leashes and off they went.
And, at the end of the show, I walked the runway with Angelo and Bella dressed as the Bride and Groom for a traditional fashion show ending. It as a great event, we raised money for the Cavelier Rescue and the dogs were all splendid.
Most of the fashions from this show are sold out, a few are still in our clothing collection.
